Westislonely makes a powerful return with the release of her latest EP, ‘Man’s Ruin’ – a five-track statement that cements her evolution as one of the genre’s most compelling rising stars.
Man’s Ruin captures West fully stepping into her own. Guided by the unspoken mantra: “pressure makes diamonds,’ the EP was made with the help of producer Dimitri Tikovoï (The Horrors, Placebo) in west London. With contributions from YONAKA guitarist George Edwards and WARGASM drummer Adam Breeze, the result is an EP is a bold and uncompromising body of work that sharpens West’s sonic world.
Opening with West’s first release of the year, ‘Show Me a God’, the project immediately establishes a fearless tone, followed by the self-assured ‘Bad Dog’.
At the heart of Man’s Ruin lies West’s signature introspection and storytelling, most evident on ‘Computer Daydream’ a track that moves from vulnerability to a captivating surge of emotion.
Speaking on the new EP, Westislonely says:
‘Mans Ruin has no happy endings and no heroes; ruin looks better in all black.’
The new project follows breakout single ‘Toothache’ and 2025’s EP – ‘Even A Worm Will Turn’ featuring tracks ‘Cliché’ and ‘Empty Space’. With growing support from BBC Radio 1 and MTV, West’s trajectory is undeniable.
A striking body of work, ‘Man’s Ruin’ underscores West as a future rock star in the making. Stream here and for further information on live dates visit here.
