Steve Blanco, bassist of the NYC avant-garde metal group Imperial Triumphant, presents Imprints of Man, a complete solo piano performance featuring his own arrangements of music from Imperial Triumphant. Performed in its entirety, the program transforms the band’s compositions into an intimate concert experience blending interpretation and improvisation. About Steve Blanco:

Steve Blanco is an international touring pianist, composer, and multi-instrumentalist whose work spans solo piano performance, avant-garde composition, film, and extreme contemporary music. He is widely recognized as bassist and keyboardist of the New York experimental metal group Imperial Triumphant, with whom he has toured extensively throughout North America, Europe, Asia, and Latin America.

His piano work explores the intersection of composition and improvisation, drawing from jazz harmony, cinematic atmosphere, and contemporary experimental music.
