“There’s a musical-box sweetness to the 16-year-old US songwriter’s spindly folktronica” – The Guardian
“incredible control, both as a lyricist and as a vocalist” – Clash
“A quietly ambitious sonic vision, rejecting the conventional to disarm and charm in equal measure.” – Wonderland

Across a number of quietly yet prolifically released independent projects, California based singer, songwriter and producer Eilish Constance has been expertly weaving a fantastical world within a daydream, opening the doors to her own imagination. Only recently turning 17, her penchant for subverting the blueprint of the genres she pools from–indie, pop, folk, electronica and more–in favour of the road less travelled to provide a space to escape to for her listeners belies her years on this planet. After capturing imaginations with recent singles ‘1 plus 1’ and ‘Tethered’, today Eilish Constance announces Singing for fun; her debut EP and the grandest display of her vision yet, due for release on June 5th 2026.

A six-track encapsulation of Eilish Constance’s singular songwriting ability, as well as her gloriously off-kilter sonic palette, Singing for fun paints the inner monologue of a particularly imaginative young woman on an all-enveloping canvas. A project that seamlessly flows from expansive to intimate, from poetic to conversational, often in a single song, Singing for fun exhibits the full range of one of pop’s most exciting new songwriters while platforming Eilish Constance’s deft ability to harness far flung emotions into her output, guiding the listener through all-too-relatable experiences through the lens of unconventional, ingenious songcraft.

New single ‘Hold my hand hunter’ takes the push and pull of a more direct, pop-focused approach with a true, unfiltered curiosity to her production to new heights. Produced alongside Alex Craig (After, Coco & Clair Clair) and undoubtedly her most catchy song to date, ‘Hold my hand hunter’ takes Eilish’s gorgeously delicate vocal tone and places it over a postmodern combination of lightly droning melodics, strummed acoustic guitars, buzzsaw synths, lightly ticking drum machines and a fuzzed-out wall of shoegaze inspired tones. On paper, a lot of the sounds at play on ‘Hold my hand hunter’ feel as if they should be at odds, yet they fold into each other seamlessly on the track; another example of Eilish Constance conceiving simultaneously left-field and inviting reveries from disparate sources.

With the release of ‘Hold my hand hunter’, Eilish Constance offers the clearest glimpse yet into the world of her debut EP. Blending emotional honesty with a sharply defined creative vision, the single further establishes Eilish as an artist capable of navigating pop music on her own terms; balancing youthful wonder, vulnerability, and experimentation without compromise.

If “Hold my hand hunter” is any indication on the forthcoming EP, Eilish Constance is only just beginning to step into her own world, and listeners will want to follow along closely.
