COLORBLIND announce debut album, ‘Who Sold You This Truth ++ Was It Yours To Hold’

COLORBLIND announce debut album,

‘Who Sold You This Truth ++ Was It Yours To Hold’, due out 28 August 2026 via Solid State Records

New single, Pressure, out today

Austin, Texas quartet Colorblind have announced their highly anticipated new album ‘Who Sold You This Truth ++ Was It Yours To Hold’, set for release on August 28 via Solid State Records.

Positioned at the forefront of dreamcore, a rising sub genre that blends metalcore with cinematic atmosphere and melody, Colorblind are quickly establishing themselves as a defining voice of the movement. Through both their music and the immersive visual world crafted in their videos, the band has built a distinct identity that continues to resonate deeply with listeners. It is a world fans are not just hearing, they are stepping into.

Alongside the album announcement, the band have released its opening single, ‘Pressure’.

Speaking of the new single, vocalist Travis Moseley shares “Pressure is about the weight of your own mind crushing you from the inside out. This was one of the first songs made for the record. I was really feeling the pressure of signing my first record deal, making my first album, and it was all coming to a head. I’m so grateful to have all of this pressure in my life.”

Ultimately, Colorblind stand apart because they’ve never tried to fit in. Since forming in 2017, the Austin, TX quartet has forged its own lane in modern heavy music, one captivating song, one sold-out show, and one explosive festival set at a time. They’ve grown into one of the scene’s most compelling new voices, powered by breakout singles like ‘Motionless’, ‘Needle Eye’ and ‘Letdown’ (as featured on SiriusXM Octane), racking up more than 30M streams in the process.

Their “dreamcore” sound thrives on contrast, blending thundering, detuned riffs with ambient textures and pop-forward melody – pairing weight and atmosphere in a way that feels both immediate and immersive. Beneath that dynamic lies an emotional honesty that has shaped their music from the very beginning: Early independent releases, including their self-titled EP, introduced that core, with songs like “Ghosts” revealing a deeply personal perspective that quickly resonated with listeners.

The connection carried into their label debut, WHO SOLD YOU THIS TRUTH, expanding their sound and reach onto tours with blessthefall, Miss May I and Dayseeker, along with major festival stages. Now, with a debut full-length on the horizon and their first headlining tour ahead, Colorblind’s future remains wide open, with many more career-defining highs on the horizon with each and every step forward.
