Eternal Announces Debut Album Conspiracy of Warheads
Athens thrash metal band Eternal will release their debut album, Conspiracy of Warheads, through Floga Records on 2 October 2026.
Across ten tracks, the four-piece channel the speed, precision and political distrust of ’80s thrash into a record confronting war, government manipulation, conformity, violence and psychological pressure.
Produced by the band and mastered by Nasos Nomikos, whose credits include Annihilator, Warlord, Rotting Christ and Beast in Black, the album captures a group shaped as much by the stage as the studio.
Since forming in Athens, Greece, in 2022, Eternal have shared stages with Suicidal Angels, Amken, Karma Violens, Among Ruins, Gehennah, Terrorhammer, Biocancer and Typhus. That live experience drives the album’s compact arrangements, fast tempos, tightly controlled rhythm sections and twin-guitar riffing.
At the centre of the new record is its title track, “Conspiracy of Warheads,” an anti-war song challenging the narratives used by governments and military powers to justify conflict while distancing themselves from its human cost.
“Man Down (In the Front Row)” turns toward the disorder and excitement of touring life, capturing loud amplifiers, crowded venues, late nights and the consequences that follow. Elsewhere, the album addresses retaliation, reckless behaviour, distorted reality, social pressure and psychological confinement.
Eternal favour clearly defined subjects and direct points of view. Even when the themes become darker, the writing remains grounded, confrontational and closely connected to the urgency of the music.
The band first introduced themselves with the demo “No Escape” in January 2024, followed by “Bloodspill” in May 2025. Both tracks return on Conspiracy of Warheads, now recontextualised within a full-length record reflecting Eternal’s development through two years of writing, recording and live performance.
Conspiracy of Warheads was produced by Eternal. Guitars and bass were recorded at Avra Studios, with drums recorded at George Ziotas’ Studio. Vocals were recorded by Epameinondas Oikonomou at Symbolic P Studio. Mixing was completed at Symbolic P Studio by Costas “Naberius” Papadopoulos, whose credits include Yoth Iria.
Mastering was handled by Nasos Nomikos at VU Productions Mastering Studios, whose previous work includes Annihilator, Warlord, Rotting Christ and Beast in Black.
The album cover artwork was created by Marcelo at DOD Illustrations.
Conspiracy of Warheads establishes Eternal’s position clearly. The band are rooted in thrash metal’s speed, discipline and political distrust, but their debut is shaped by their own environment, outlook and growing reputation as a forceful live band.
Rather than simply paying tribute to thrash metal’s past, Eternal use Conspiracy of Warheads to define what the band sound like now.
Conspiracy of Warheads will be released through Floga Records on 2 October 2026.
