Ontario alternative rock band Bleeker have released their latest single, Great Unknown’.

Written in search of nostalgia, ‘Great Unknown’ stands out as one of the band’s few straight-up rock tracks in their catalogue. It captures a strong sense of determination and forward momentum, built on the belief that progress is earned, not given. Rooted in grit and resilience, the song reflects the idea that the promise of something better belongs to those willing to step into the unknown and fight their way forward.

Firmly grounded in the alternative rock space, Bleeker lean into their most direct and hard-hitting instincts, delivering a track that feels both immediate and timeless.

Speaking of Great Unknown, front man Taylor Perkins shares, “Great Unknown is a song is about earning your way forward, not asking for it. I think we all really want to believe the promise of what’s on the other side belongs to the brave one’s who keep walking into the unknown and the people getting their hands dirty climbing out of the valley with nothing but grit and belief. We really believe in that. After playing a lot of our demos for friends, people kept coming back to this one, so we made it single one.”

Bleeker are an alternative rock band from Orillia, Ontario, known for explosive live shows and hook-heavy songs that land somewhere between raw power and undeniable accessibility. Fierce, anthemic, and built for the stage, the band has amassed more than 57 million global streams, building a dedicated international audience drawn to their urgency, grit, and chemistry.

Formed by vocalist Taylor Perkins, guitarist (and brother) Cole Perkins, bassist Mike Van Dyk, and drummer Chris Dimas, Bleeker first broke through with their 2016 full-length debut Erase YouThe album’s lead single, “Highway,” became a defining moment for the band, topping Canadian rock radio, cracking the U.S. Top 10, and receiving airplay across Europe. The song’s success earned Bleeker a JUNO Award nomination and recognition at the Radio Music Awards, firmly establishing them as a rising force in modern rock.

Momentum continued with the 2024 release Messed Up, which produced the Canadian Top 20 rock singles “Make It Better” and “Let’s Go.” The latter quickly took on a life of its own, becoming a breakout sports anthem. “Let’s Go” soundtracked the 2024 and 2025 NHL Playoffs, was licensed by EA Sports for NHL 25, and appeared in broadcast coverage of the UEFA European Championships, including England’s team montage. The track has since been adopted as an official in-arena hype song by NHL teams including the Edmonton Oilers and Dallas Stars, while also earning prominent editorial playlist support on Spotify across the U.S., Canada, the UK, France, Germany, Austria, and Ireland.

In early 2025, Bleeker signed an exclusive global publishing deal with Downtown Music Publishing, followed by the release of the EP Fuck You I’m LeavingThe project included the single “Hey Man,” which reached #12 on Canada’s National Rock Chart, while the EP’s title track quickly became a live show centerpiece, a cathartic, full-room sing-along that underscores the band’s growing connection with audiences.

A relentless touring act, Bleeker have performed extensively across North America and Europe, appearing at major festivals and sharing stages with artists including The Struts, Papa Roach, Airbourne, Dinosaur Pile-Up, and Sublime with Rome. These performances have cemented their reputation as a powerhouse live band and continue to fuel their rise beyond Canada’s borders. As they enter their next album cycle, Bleeker stand poised as one of Canada’s most compelling and export-ready voices in contemporary alternative rock.
