Transcontinental trio SAVE US have today released their new single, ‘Seraphim’, the latest track to be lifted from their recently announced debut album, Death To Something, due for release on October 16 via Solid State Records. Produced by Landon Tewers, the album is available to pre-order now.

Speaking of the track, vocalist Miguel Owls shares, “’Seraphim’ is the absolute face melter of the record. It has some of the heaviest moments we’ve ever written, and it hits hard right from the start. What makes this one really stand out is the contrast. The verses go full aggression, then the chorus flips everything into this dreamy, almost floating vibe. Vocally, it’s a wild shift from nonstop screaming into something way more atmospheric, and it just works. This one is built for the live show. I already know it’s going to move crowds.”

The story of how SAVE US came together is a testament to the borderless nature of modern music. In 2023, California’s Central Valley-based vocalist Owls was steadily building an online following through a series of cover videos posted across social media. Among those watching was Bristol-based musician Chris Biddiscombe, who discovered one of Owls’ Architects covers and reached out via TikTok.

The connection was immediate. Despite being separated by more than 5,000 miles, the pair quickly began writing together, later joined by Benji. Determined to make the project work, Owls would routinely wake at 5am to collaborate before starting his factory shift later that day. Long before meeting face-to-face, the trio had already written and recorded a collection of songs remotely.

Their first in-person meeting came when Owls travelled to the UK to film the video for ‘Distance’, a standout track from the band’s LUCID EP. The song struck a chord with listeners, surpassing 2.6 million streams on Spotify and helping establish Save Us as one of metalcore’s most exciting emerging prospects.

Building on that momentum, the band released their EXIST EP in 2024 before taking the next major step in their journey. In 2025, Save Us signed with Solid State Records and headed to Michigan to record with acclaimed producer and The Plot In You frontman Landon Tewers, laying the foundations for the band’s most ambitious chapter yet.
