ZETRA – release dark ambient remix of debut album titled ‘Zetra: The Floor Eternal’

Honouring the one-year anniversary of their debut self-titled album, spectral duo Zetra have released a dark ambient, electronic remix of the record, in collaboration with theKeymaker.

Zetra: The Floor Eternal has been released digitally today via Nuclear Blast Records.

Zetra commented:

“In celebration of the one year anniversary of the release of our debut full length record, ‘Zetra’, we present a complete reimagining of the album in the form of dark ambient, electronic pieces. Titled ‘Zetra: The Floor Eternal’, this release marks the completion of ‘Zetra I’ and the end of an era.

Experience Zetra in a new form. This music is intended to accompany you in moments of relaxation, meditation, focused listening or in the background while your mind is elsewhere.

The 5-track, goth-pop masterpiece includes focus track and EP opener ‘The Angel Cries‘, new wave infused single ‘The Spider‘ and sparkly, shoe-gaze number ‘So‘, as well as a dramatic, alt-metal soaked cover of Kittie‘s iconic track ‘Charlotte‘ featuring Justine Jones from Employed To Serve.

Shrouded in mystery, the UK duo blend elements of shoegaze, synth, and post-punk into a sound that is other-worldly and spellbinding. Emerging from the underground with a haunting visual aesthetic of cloaked figures and vintage analog synths, ZETRA have already begun to carve a devoted cult following.

ZETRA were recently awarded The Great Escape‘s Steve Strange Award for 2025, following their performance at the festival earlier this year. The award celebrates boundary-breaking new talent and the legacy of the iconic music agent Steve Strange.
