After taking a quick break from extensively touring their latest album, Sleepless Empire, Italian metal titans LACUNA COIL are releasing a lyric video created by 12Inch Media for the mesmerising ‘In Nomine Patris‘, just before embarking on more touring for the rest of the year and in early 2026. “Once we decided to make a lyric video for the song ‘In Nomine Patris’ we thought we should use the opportunity to bring some of Roberto Toderico’s drawings to life,” says Andrea Ferro. “He did such an amazing job in designing the art for ‘Sleepless Empire’ that it would deserve a complete animated version of the whole album! Obviously, we can only do so much and we’ve opted for this specific song that’s been striking so many people’s hearts. It’s a song about facing the fear of being influenced by things much bigger than us, that we can’t totally comprehend or that we think we’re not ready to face, something we consider sacred in a way. We need to take it one step at the time, day by day, ….it takes time to build an empire.”

The video lands just before the band hits the road again. And they are especially thrilled to announce coming back to the Middle East, Australia and Asia in early 2026. Andrea Ferro comments:
“The new year will finally see us go back to the Middle East, Australia and Asia, we can’t wait to bring the new songs and also the classic LC tunes. We don’t get to visit very often but whenever we travel there, it’s always very special, it feels like a journey into ourselves, it reminds us of how great and diverse the world is and how much music unites us all even in these weird times. ABOUT LACUNA COIL
LACUNA COIL, which translates to “empty spiral”, is an Italian gothic metal band formed in Milan in 1994. The band is renowned for their distinctive blend of heavy metal, gothic rock, and symphonic elements, characterised by dual vocal harmonies between co-lead vocalists Cristina Scabbia and Andrea Ferro. The band gained international recognition with their third album, Comalies, released in 2002, which featured hit singles like ‘Heaven’s a Lie’ and ‘Swamped’. This album marked their breakthrough in the United States and helped them secure a dedicated fan base worldwide.

Over the years, LACUNA COIL have released several successful albums, including Karmacode (2006), Shallow Life (2009), Dark Adrenaline (2012), and Black Anima (2019).

Known for their dynamic live performances and strong stage presence, LACUNA COIL have toured extensively, sharing stages with prominent bands in the metal scene and performing at major music festivals around the globe.
