2025 is shaping up to be quite the year for Cian Ducrot. It started with a special moment when he won his first Grammy Award as co-writer of SZA’s hit ‘Saturn’, and is now building to a new peak as he releases his sophomore album ‘Little Dreaming’ on August 1st. His recent high impact singles, ‘Who’s Making You Feel It?’, the title track and ‘Shalalala’ are all driving anticipation for the set, which Cian now elevates with the new song ‘Your Eyes’. Listen HERE.
Cian Ducrot is a natural born romantic, even if, as his previous songs have revealed, the path of true love hasn’t always run smoothly. But now he’s on a high, and ‘Your Eyes’ reflects on everything he has to be thankful for, and the reassurance he feels when gazing into his girlfriend’s eyes. It starts with the kind of intimate acoustics that you’d expect from a love song, but the elation that Cian feels soon bursts into life. Hand claps, joyous vocals, rousing group backing harmonies and a rhythm like a runaway heartbeat all contribute to arguably his most undeniably infectious pop moment to date.
Cian says, “This song is a celebration life, love and friendship and it’s everything I want to put out in the world at this moment! I made it with my best friends, and I can’t wait for the world to share it with theirs
”
The song was written by Cian, Anton Göransson and Isabella Sjöstrand (RAYE), and Bill Maybury (James Bay), and it was produced by Cian and Anton Göransson.
‘Little Dreaming’ is a beautifully cohesive work born from the breadth of his many musical influences that invites listeners to travel with him on a journey of self-discovery. Put together with a tight-knit group of trusted collaborators, it sees him showcase a dazzling Seventies and Eighties sound – influenced by greats such as Elton John, Michael Jackson and Queen – all the while baring his soul through heartfelt, authentic songwriting.
Cian wrote over 100 songs for potential inclusion on ‘Little Dreaming’. But even after delivering the album, inspiration continued to flow thick-and-fast. With so many songs worthy of inclusion, he announced that he had added another three tracks to its running order – each of which fits the mood, style and standard of the rest of the collection.
‘Little Dreaming’ is available to pre-order HERE. The pick of the physical products is a dazzling tricolour vinyl which is available exclusively from Cian’s official store.
Last summer saw Cian Ducrot underline his huge draw as a live performer by playing big outdoor shows in Ireland to a combined audience of 36,000 fans. Since then, he has toured arenas across the UK and Europe as special guest to Teddy Swims – a dream billing that the pair will repeat for a major North American tour in September. Cian has also just previewed the ‘Little Dreaming’ album with an intimate acoustic tour which was entirely sold-out.
Next comes two outdoor headline shows at Cork’s Live At The Marquee. ‘The Dream Ship Tour 2025’ then gets fully underway in September, leading to a 13,000 capacity headline show at Dublin’s 3Arena just before Christmas. His headline shows are listed below, please see HERE for remaining tickets.
