ELECTRIC CALLBOY have experienced an extraordinary surge over the past three years, ascending to musical Olympus with hits like ‘Hypa Hypa’, ‘We Got The Moves’, ‘Pump It’, and ‘Spaceman’. Beyond the captivating songs, the spotlight shines on their self-deprecating humour, seamlessly bringing the party to concert stages through eye-catching costumes and wigs featured in videos that have garnered millions of views. It’s no surprise that their popularity has exploded to fill stadiums across the world! As their popularity continues to soar, ELECTRIC CALLBOY now pack the biggest concert halls. The band drew in over 150,000 fans during their nearly sold-out world tour, and six of their eight 2024 shows have already sold out. In arenas, the elaborate production wows audiences with a spectacular light show and large video screens cleverly integrated into the stage design. These concerts are not just about wild partying and dancing; they also include moments of intimacy. During their pointed piano/saxophone/acoustic guitar interlude, the versatile musicians get cozy with a “Careless Whisper” ambiance, all delivered with a playful wink. In short, the 2023 TEKKNO tour was an unforgettable experience! For those who missed it, there’s an opportunity to catch up or relive the magic, perhaps even in costume. The 21-song live spectacle is now hitting cinemas! The best recordings from major European cities, along with live scenes from the band’s “Escalation Fest” at the Rudolf Weber Arena in Oberhausen, will grace screens across the globe. This means that special guests Kalle Koschinsky, Finch, and Maria from Future Palace, known from features on the band’s studio recordings, can be experienced live. And the most remarkable aspect: attending the movies does more than entertain! ELECTRIC CALLBOY is donating the proceeds to their EC Music School for socially disadvantaged children. This dedicated project aims to empower all children to learn an instrument, even if their parents can’t afford expensive music lessons. The first music school, equipped with 19 different instruments, has already been inaugurated by the band members in their hometown of Castrop-Rauxel with tremendous dedication, with many more to follow. |
