ZARDONIC ENLISTS FEAR FACTORY’S DINO CAZARES & PROTOPIG FOR “GODHEAD INTERFACE”

ZARDONIC ENLISTS FEAR FACTORY’S DINO CAZARES & PROTOPIG FOR “GODHEAD INTERFACE,” ANNOUNCES NEW ALBUM DIGICIDE
The Metal & Bass pioneer fires the first shot from his most ambitious record yet, a sonic manifesto against algorithmic control, surveillance capitalism and the erosion of human identity, featuring collaborations with members of Fear Factory, Mayhem, and more.

DIGICIDE arrives March 12, 2027 via Phobos/MMC.
Masked producer, DJ and Metal & Bass architect ZARDONIC today releases “Godhead Interface,” the lead single from his fifth studio album, DIGICIDE, out March 12, 2027 via Phobos/MMC. The track features Dino Cazares (Fear Factory) and Daniel “Kaio” Soto (Protopig). It is available now on all streaming platforms.

“This album is easily the most difficult body of work I’ve ever put together,” says ZARDONIC. “It stems from deeply traumatic personal experiences that forced me to see the darkest corners of our system. After months of reading and research into how these systems actually work, I had a moment like Roddy Piper’s character Nada putting on the glasses in They Live, and to this day I can’t take them off. In the age of AI, the engine that keeps this system running can’t hide from us anymore. That energy drew the right collaborators: Dino Cazares, whose music with Fear Factory has spent decades warning us about the rise of the machine, and my former mentor and now production partner Daniel ‘Kaio’ Soto, who blew me away with his brutal death metal vocals and fierce lyrics. I’m proud to have these titans on board.”

“Zardonic and I go way back,” Dino states.. “He’s always understood the connection between crushing metal riffs and the aggression of electronic music. He did some killer work on Fear Factory’s RECODED album, and when we started putting together our new Fear Factory material, I brought him back to inject some synth work and electronic elements into a couple of tracks. So when he reached out to me about collaborating on ‘Godhead Interface’ for his new album DIGICIDE, it was a no-brainer! The track is a collision of heavy guitars, industrial electronics, and pure sonic aggression. Protopig delivered some vocals that really brought the whole thing together. I’m proud of what we created, and I think fans of both Fear Factory and Zardonic are going to dig this one!”

PROTOPIG (Daniel “KAIO” Soto) added, “Zardonic and I have known each other since our beginnings in the early 2000s in the Venezuelan metal scene, and ever since he showed the potential of becoming something larger than life. Decades later, providing the lyrics and vocals for this massive collaboration with Dino Cazares is an absolute honor for me. In this modern era of algorithmic manipulation, the story behind DIGICIDE feels more urgent than ever, and I’m glad to be part of it!”

DIGICIDE follows a catalogue that includes Vulgar Display of Bass (2012), Antihero (2015), Become (2018) and Superstars (2023).
Each release has marked a different stage in Zardonic’s development, but the underlying mission has remained the same: to create music on his own terms, challenge established conventions and bring together audiences that the industry has traditionally kept apart.
With DIGICIDE, those principles converge in his most ambitious and forthright project to date.
‘Godhead Interface’ featuring Dino Cazares and Protopig opens the campaign on October 30, establishing the creative and conceptual foundations for an album that will continue to unfold through a succession of collaborations over the coming months.
The single offers the first glimpse into a record that connects Zardonic’s history in drum and bass and metal with a wider examination of technology, identity and power.
