NEW ALBUM ‘ZAC II’ OUT ON 12 MAY VIA WILD HONEY RECORDS
HEAR FIRST SINGLE ‘THE WORLD IS STANDING STILL’ HERE
Italian rockers ZAC have announced the release of their second album ‘ZAC II‘, out on 12h May via Wild Honey Records.
They have now shared ‘The World Is Standing Still‘, the album’s first single and opening track. ZAC explain: “It’s among the first songs we wrote for the new album. It was born during the lockdown period, a theme reflected in the lyrics alongside references to historical events, books, films and personal fantasies. We just wanted to reflect on those extreme situations and calamities that push human beings to their limits, making them both powerless as they make them resilient, unstoppable and powerful”.
Recorded and produced by Danilo Silvestri, at the GreenMountainAudio in Rome, the song recalls the synth-wave atmospheres of the 80’s, emphasized by the use of a Juno arpeggiator, a reference to records of that era by bands such as ELO, Cars and XTC.

Following the release of their 2019 self-titled debut album, the four pop heroes that make up the Teflon team of ZAC are about to make a welcome return to your turntable with their second LP, the imaginatively entitled “ZAC II”. Lorenzo Moretti (Giuda’s guitarist and creative mind), Tiziano Tarli (multi-instrumentalist and music historian) have put together another surfeit of sensational songs. Pablo (Tiziano’s son) continues to provide the beats, and Sterbus returns on the bass guitar.
