Speaking on today’s announcement and on working with XCOMM, Ross Robinson shares “Raw, ripping talented kids, faced with so much heavy adversity, have turned to this super cool punk expression rather than some bitter self-destruction. It’s given me a next-level inspiration to go deep into some sweet unknown territory. I’m having way too much fun on this one.” With Bill Armstrong (co-founder of Blowed Out Records) adding “When Ross sent me XCOMM, I immediately felt the fire.” Echoing Robinson’s excitement for the gargantuan debut album being forged via their creative partnership, the members of XCOMM have the following to say Drummer, Revel Ian – “Ross Robinson has been one of, if not the best producer in the scene for over 33 years, and we are stoked and honored that he chose to work with us. We have created a behemoth of a record, and we couldn’t have done it without Ross. I can’t wait for everybody to hear what we’ve made.” Guitarist, Jay Vargas – “Everything is straight up working with Ross. What you’re gonna hear on the record is the real, violent, ferocious aggression you and I deal with everyday” Vocalist & guitarist, Michael Gatto – “Ross is a Mad Scientist not afraid to experiment with different tones, different amps, different guitars and different techniques to get the unique sound of XCOMM.
