Produced by Ross Robinson (Korn, The Cure, Slipknot, Glassjaw, At The Drive In), Time To Burn is the full statement that previous singles – “Reasons,” “Fake ID,” and “Hot Pursuit / One And Nothing” have been pointing toward since XCOMM first broke cover in September 2025. In the months since, “Fake ID” surpassed 2.5 million views, the band opened for the Foo Fighters at a sold-out Kia Forum charity show, they earned a spot on the prestigious NME 100 of 2026, and built a following of nearly 72,000 Instagram followers in a matter of weeks. Speaking on the making of Time To Burn, drummer Revel Ian shares: “We sat behind our instruments, shared our deepest darkest secrets, and then continued to beat our instruments with each strum and stroke packed with unfiltered emotion. Ross Robinson transformed us into musical weapons that will blow your head off when you play our record.” Frontman Michael Gatto adds: “I’ll forever be grateful for having the opportunity to record this album, the whole process from tracking to mixing was truly incredible. Borrowed Happiness is one of my favorite tracks on the record, shooting the music videos with Darren and all the dudes in the van was super cool and I love when we play this one live.” Producer Ross Robinson says: “Nothing brings me more satisfaction as a producer than sharing that undeniable life force of untainted expression…XCOMM, being the youngest band I’ve ever worked with, I had to nickname the studio sessions as “daycare.” It was so fun and alive throughout the whole process. Made me realize on another level how important the pulse of youth truly is.” The release arrives with XCOMM’s live presence already in full swing. Fresh off opening for the Foo Fighters at a sold-out Kia Forum charity show in January and an appearance at the 3rd Anniversary Parking Lot Show at The Punk Rock Museum in Las Vegas alongside Spike and the Gimme Gimmes, Kate Clover, The Whops, and River Rats, the band head to Pacific Electric in Los Angeles on 11th April for California Chaos Festival alongside Militaire Gun, Stateside, Grave Secrets, Blossom, Jawdropped and Star 99, before joining Warped Tour 2026 in Washington D.C. on 13th and 14th June and Long Beach, CA on 25th and 26th July.
