This is where we stand in America in 2025, a nation polarized at its core, striving to keep the promises written by its founding fathers in the Constitution, under the harshest attack on democracy from within in its history. XBYRDX is a voice crying out in the wilderness, hoping to once again resurrect the power of rock to enact social change, to lead us into the future, rather than off the side of a cliff. | | In addition to the album announcement, XBYRDX has also released the title track from the album along with an accompanying music video. “I’m surrounded by the ash/Of all my dreams that died,” sings XBYRDX on the title track, but Anthems for the End Times offers proof through the night all hope is not lost… that our flag is still here. XBYRDX continues, “I want to get us back to a place where we recognize one another’s humanity,” said the self-described Gen X humanist. “We don’t need a revolution as much as evolution. We can think our way out of this. We can make ourselves better. People still have the power. It’s up to us to do something positive with that energy. I wanted to do something completely different than I have before, without a safety net.” |
