WOLFGANG VAN HALEN’S MAMMOTH CELEBRATES LATEST ALBUM THE END AVAILABLE WORLDWIDE WITH NEW MUSIC VIDEO FOR “SAME OLD SONG

To celebrate the worldwide release of his third album The End, GRAMMY® Award-nominated songwriter, vocalist, and multi-instrumentalist Wolfgang Van Halen is back with another installment music video for the Mammoth-verse. “Same Old Song” picks up where the video for “The End” wraps up and returns the universe created by Wolfgang back to normal.

The music video for “The End” – directed by Robert Rodriguez – saw Wolfgang’s bandmates mauled by a collection of zombies, vampires, and werewolves. “Same Old Song” starts with Wolfgang waking up from a dream and realising things are back to normal as the band rehearses the new song. Directed by JT Ibanez, the video shows Mammoth depicting their trademark live-performance style that they have come to be known for.

The End is now available everywhere music is consumed via label home BMG. The 10-track album – produced by friend and collaborator Michael “Elvis” Baskette – clocks in at 39-minuttes and showcases the evolution of Wolf and his songwriting since he launched his solo career in 2020. Continuing the tradition of writing all the songs and performing all the instrumentation and vocals himself, Wolfgang Van Halen set out to challenge himself beyond what he did on his debut and second release, Mammoth II. From the hypnotic opening of “One Of A Kind” to infectious closer “All In Good Time,” Wolfgang demonstrates his proficiency as a musician and songwriter. Songs like “Happy,” “Something New” and “Selfish” will fit perfectly alongside older songs that fans have already come to love from Mammoth.

Mammoth released aforementioned first single “The End” in May, and it shot up the radio charts peaking at #1. That single featured a landmark music video – a remake of the classic film From Dusk ‘Til Dawn – directed by Robert Rodriguez and Greg Nicotero. The video has received over 5-million views and contains cameos from Danny Trejo, Slash, Myles Kennedy, and of course his mother Valerie Bertinelli.

Mammoth also released the new single “The Spell” which is currently Top 20 at US Active Rock radio – that music video has racked up over 6-million views already. A third video for the humorous, explicit track, “I Really Wanna,” was released in September to critical and fan acclaim. The End is available in multiple configurations including limited edition vinyl colours, signed insert version, and retailer exclusives here: https://Mammoth.lnk.to/TheEndAlbum.

About Mammoth:

GRAMMY® Award-nominated songwriter, vocalist, multi-instrumentalist, and producer Wolfgang Van Halen continues to separate Mammoth from the pack. The music stands alone on a foundation anchored by his impressive sonic proficiency (across drums, bass, keys, and guitar) and airtight arena-size hooks with unforgettable vocals. He harbours an irresistible signature sound, inventive vision, and incomparable identity vaunted by a fervent global fanbase. For as unique as the music is, his story so far proves to be just as unprecedented. This is arguably the first hard rock act to genuinely break out from ground zero in the 2020’s, generating north of 100 million streams, toppling charts, and selling out headline tours less than five years since its debut. Back in 2021, Mammoth’s first offering, Mammoth WVH, took flight, bowing at #12 on the Billboard 200 and capturing #1 on three Billboard charts—Top Hard Rock Albums, Top Independent Albums, and Top Rock Albums. “Distance” soared as the first of two #1 Rock Radio Hits and earned a GRAMMY® Award nomination for “Best Rock Song.” Two years later, Mammoth II only saw him pick up the pace. It debuted in the Top 5 of the Billboard Top Album Sales Chart in addition to bringing him back to #1 on the Top Hard Rock Albums Chart. It incited widespread applause from Rolling Stone, Guitar World, GRAMMY.com, Classic Rock, American Songwriter, and KERRANG! The band canvased the globe with Metallica and Pantera and supported Foo Fighters in North America as well as filling houses on their own. They performed on ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel LIVE!, at MusiCares 2024 gala in honor of Jon Bon Jovi, and Wolf took the stage at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame® Induction of Ozzy Osbourne. Now, Wolfgang pushes forward on Mammoth’s third full-length LP.
