We are very excited to announce that US prog metal outfit NONVECTOR has signed a licensing deal with Wormholedeath for their EP “A Short Trip Home”, which will be released on September 16th, 2022 worldwide. The band speaking of the signing stated: Nonvector is very pleased to announce they have signed with Italian label WormHoleDeath Record, seeing it as a great opportunity to work with veterans of the Metal scene. We are expecting great things as we work with them and for this to be an awesome adventure as we continue to create our brand of prog-metal and Texas sludge. Nonvector is a progressive metal band that infuses technical, sludge, and progressive rock elements within a classical framework in order to drag the listener back to the aether.
After a 14-year hiatus, founder and guitarist James Jackson of Crimson Massacre (defunct) formed NonVector, bringing in bassist James Duvall and classically trained Pianist Vince Patillo to create their own take on progressive rock/metal music. For A Short Trip Home EP, Kevin Talley was brought on board to create the explosive and technical percussion skills needed for the EP.
NonVector’s EP debut “A Short Trip Home” has inspired James J. after reading F. Scott Fitzgerald 1927’s namesake. Bringing in a technical and classical foundation with layers of progressive elements and to give it a southern sound where all of its members live.
After creating their single Ethereal HyperVisor released in 2020, James J., James D., and Vince have signed with the Italian record label WormHoleDeath to continue their path of creating their sound with classical elements, progressive notes, and Texas sludge. Line-Up:
James Jackson – Guitars
James Duvall – Bass
Vince Patillo – Piano |
