UK Post-Metal Trio The Grey Stream Entire New Album Kodok

UK Post-Metal Trio The Grey Stream Entire New Album Kodok

UK post-metal trio The Grey present their highly anticipated third album, Kodok, now streaming in full via Invisible Oranges, ahead of its official February 28 release via Majestic Mountain Records.

Invisible Oranges commented: “Standing in contrast to the murder of acts who push post-metal to its loudest percentile is The Grey. The UK-based act thrive within the genre’s latent looseness, bouncing off of one another like a live act. Their third record—and first in six years—Kodok hones in on that.”

    Stream Kodok in full here.

Reflecting on the album, the band shared: “For us, this album is simply immense in every respect—its dynamics evoking not only Neurosis but also Amenra. There is delicacy, grace, elegance here, and you feel yourself ache inside.”

If you missed it, watch the video for the track “Sharpen the Knife,” featuring a powerful guest appearance by Grady Avenell of Will Haven at this location.

Building on the success of their acclaimed earlier releases—Dead Fire (2019) and The Grey (2018)—Kodok delivers a masterful blend of raw energy, deep emotion, and artistic evolution. With intricate layers, immersive textures, and an expanded sonic palette, the album pushes the boundaries of the band’s post-metal sound.

Adding to the album’s depth are standout collaborations with Ace Skunk Anansie, Ricky Warwick, fattybassman, and dARKMODE, infusing the project with fresh perspectives and rich musicality. Pre-orders are now available at this location.
