NASHVILLE, Tenn. – (June 26, 2026) – Platinum Country artist Tyler Braden releases his new song “Horseshoes & Hand Grenades” today, delivering a reflective, emotionally charged track that explores the fragile space between hope, heartbreak, and moving on – listen here.
Written by Braden, Chris Loocke (Jake Owen, Brantley Gilbert, Brian Kelley), and Jack Hummel (Vincent Mason, Gavin Adcock, Corey Kent), and produced by Sam Martinez (Shaboozey, Carrie Underwood, Graham Barham), the song captures the lingering belief that something “almost” worked, only to ultimately accept that close doesn’t always mean enough. Built on Braden’s signature blend of raw storytelling and high-impact Country edge, the track continues his momentum following recent release “
My Americana.”
“We’ve been working the sound in a direction that I’ve wanted to go for a long time and that truly started with the ‘b-stage’ tracks from my album devil and a prayer,” says Braden. “Every time we’ve been in the writers’ room or the studio, we’ve headed this direction and a lot of that has culminated in this song. I’m stoked for you to hear this one.”
The official music video for “Horseshoes & Hand Grenades” premieres later today, directed by Marisa Taylor and starring actors
Austin North (Outer Banks) and
Cali Fuller, bringing the song’s emotional tension to life on screen in a visually driven companion piece.
The new release follows a standout stretch for Braden, including his recent viral crossover moment with the Savannah Bananas and The Firefighters at the University of Nebraska’s Memorial Stadium, where he performed “
MORE THAN A PRAYER” in front of more than 85,000 fans. The performance, streamed across ESPN app, YouTube, and Disney+, introduced Braden to a massive global audience and further cemented a milestone year. Watch the clip

Braden debuted “Horseshoes & Hand Grenades” during CMA Fest at SiriusXM’s Music Row Happy Hour before performing it live at both the Chevy Riverfront Stage and Spotify House at Ole Red. Early coverage from outlets including
Holler and
Country Now highlighted the song’s emotional resonance and strong crowd response throughout the festival.
Internationally, Braden continues to expand his global touring footprint. His Australian Wild At Heart Tour headline run launches September 30 and continues into October, with overwhelming demand prompting a second Brisbane show after the initial date sold out.
Looking ahead, Braden will bring his
The Days of Gold Tour to the UK and Europe in February 2027 for his first-ever 12-date headline run in these countries, marking a major milestone in his rapidly expanding international career. Check out the dates below, and his full tour schedule

ABOUT TYLER BRADEN:
Tyler Braden is many things at once: a Platinum-certified, Alabama-born, Nashville-based singer, songwriter, and guitarist; a classic Country troubadour with deeply personal storytelling; and an electrifying performer capable of turning any stage into a full-blown singalong. His voice carries Soul, his guitar work hits with Rock-driven energy, and his songs are rooted in honesty, earning him recognition as a “country powerhouse” from American Songwriter. Raised in Slapout, Alabama, Braden started playing marathon cover sets for local crowds throughout high school. Years later, while working as a firefighter, he spent every free moment writing and recording music. Following the release of “Little Red Wine,” he steadily built momentum through a string of singles and his 2021 EP, What Do They Know. In 2023, he followed with the Neon Grave EP, highlighted by “Try Losing One,” which hit No. 1 on SiriusXM The Highway’s Hot 30 Weekend Countdown. Braden reached a new level with 2024’s “DEVIL YOU KNOW,” which has reached nearly half a billion global streams and earned Platinum certification from the RIAA. He later released his debut album, devil and a prayer, featuring the Gold-certified “GOD & GUNS N’ ROSES,” which spent two consecutive weeks at No. 1 on SiriusXM The Highway’s Hot 30 Weekend Countdown and has now amassed more than 210 million global streams. The album also featured the Kaitlin Butts duet “MIGHT BE DANGEROUS.” Billboard praised Braden’s “automatic authenticity,” adding, “The sound is dangerous.” He has also earned acclaim from People, Taste of Country, and Country Now, among others. On the road, he has shared stages with artists including Luke Bryan, Brooks & Dunn, Dierks Bentley, Brothers Osborne, Warren Zeiders, and Darius Rucker and is now set for his first headline Australian Wild At Heart Tour in September and UK and Europe run, The Days of Gold Tour, launching February 2027. With over one billion career streams worldwide, countless sold-out shows, the breakout success of devil and a prayer, and being named a member of the Grand Ole Opry’s NextStage Class of 2026, Braden continues his undeniable momentum and his next chapter already underway.
