TWINNIE SHARES THE NEW SINGLE
‘JUST LIKE EARLE’

It’s said “hell hath no fury like a woman scorned” and Nashville-based country crossover artist Twinnie is proving there’s real truth to that statement with the self-proclaimed “psycho song”, ‘Just Like Earle’. The new single is a thumping country offering dripping in cynicism and sarcasm with a bold lyrical story inspired by The Chicks’ ‘Goodbye Earl’, and Sza’s ‘Kill Bill’. Listen HERE.

Twinnie is well-known for her colourful wording and striking productions and this track takes this new era to the next level and takes us out of the sad girl era that she has been in via recent releases ‘The Way I Loved You’, ‘Bad Man’, and ‘Sad Boy’ and showcases another side of the forthcoming ‘Blue Hour’ EP which drops this October.

Speaking about the single, Twinnie says: “The only place where Murder is legal is in a song. This EP is about all the different stages of grief we go through after a break up. I wanted some light, humorous relief to the sad girl era I’ve been in. I took inspiration from the Chicks’ Goodbye Earl and I think of this as part 2 of that song”

Just Like Earle’ is a country anthem that has the potential to become a huge radio hit; It’s strong lyrically, creatively produced, and vocally inspired with Twinnie delivering a strong and raw vocal take that enhances the overall appeal of the smash that was penned by Twinnie with Sophia Scott and David Messy.
