Tremolo Beer Gut and Boss Martians tour underway

THE TREMOLO BEER GUT

TEAMS UP WITH THE BOSS MARTIANS
FOR ULTIMATE ROCK ‘N’ ROLL TOUR

COPENHAGEN, DENMARK – October 25, 2022 – Seattle’s garage rock mainstays The Boss Martians, and Danish surf rock stalwarts The Tremolo Beer Gut have joined forces to crank their amps up and blow the roofs off of dive bars and clubs throughout the West Coast. This very special outing kicked off last night at Seattle’s infamous dive bar Darrell’s Tavern. The tour will arrive in Portland today, circle around Califonia, head to Las Vegas then make a beeline to San Francisco to conclude at Bottom of the Hill on November 5th.

“This tour has been brewing since the Surfer Joe Summer Festival in Livorno, Italy back in 2015,” explains drummer Yebo. “It’s kind of the fruit of a long love affair between two bands. You can expect two explosions of raw rock ‘n’ roll with elements of surf, ‘60s beats, and ‘70s movie scores. Can you handle it?”

The Tremolo Beer Gut’s most recent album You Can’t Handle… received quite a bit of critical praise. American Songwriter vowed, “another sweltering slab of tremolo and reverb-soaked retro rocking that could have been recorded sometime in the ’60s.” MOJO proclaimed, “bags of fun.” The Big Takeover asserted, “TBG don’t just resurrect and revere, they dig hard ‘n’ punky.” Glide Magazine declared, “an album that is unpredictable and a lot of fun.” The Vinyl District added, “savvy maneuvers are necessary to put it all over the top, and The Tremolo Beer Gut has more than a couple.”

The Tremolo Beer Gut was founded by Jesper “Yebo” Reginal and Sune Rose Wagner in 1998 and have made quite a name for themselves ever since. After The Raveonettes took off in 2003, Sune had less time to play with TBG, so their producer and sound engineer The Great Nalna took over lead guitar duties. They’ve toured all over the world from the USA to Russia and back and even opened the 60,000-capacity main stage of the Roskilde Festival back in 2000. Also, they were the first band to release a mono album in the new Millenium. Unlike most bands, they’ve used the same photo for every studio album cover.

The Tremolo Beer Gut is Jengo (guitar), The Great Nalna (guitar), Sunding (bass), and Yebo (drums).
