When two rival Belfast undertakers – one Catholic, one Protestant – declare a cross-community price war, their feud spirals into chaos, corpses, and community outrage, until an immigrant newcomer buries both their egos once and for all.
Set in modern-day Belfast, Three’s a Shroud is a fast-paced, irreverent dark comedy that pokes fun at sectarian divisions, local gossip, and the absurdity of death as big business. Beneath the outrageous humour is a sharp satire on Northern Ireland’s inability to let the past die – even in a funeral home.
