“One of the UK’s most exciting and relatable bands.” – Hunger

The Sherlocks’ recent single ‘Sirens’ delivered a big moment for the band, their fierce and uncompromising new sound rewarded with extensive Radio 1 airplay including Jordan & Vick’s Tune of the Week as well as spins from long-term fan Jack Saunders. It has delivered a huge start for the campaign for their upcoming album ‘People Like Me & You’, which follows on August 11th. Now The Sherlocks continue their resurgence by sharing the new single ‘Don’t Let It Out’. Listen HERE.

‘Don’t Let It Out’ has all the ingredients of a classic indie anthem, its shout-along hook, squalling guitars and pounding beats coming together to provide a moment that will echo across festival fields and sound just as irresistible on the radio. VocalistKiaran Crook’s topline simmers with the passion of wanting something more from life, with a relatable story of living for the weekend – an escapist topic that remains as relevant as ever.

‘Don’t Let It Out’ was written by Kiaran and was produced by Al Groves (Bring Me The HorizonThe Reytons).

Kiaran says, “‘Don’t Let It Out’ is an all-out anthem of a record! A throwback to the days of a simple three chord banger. No messing around, just a chorus that everyone can scream from the top of their lungs in a sweaty room. Fans should look forward to this tune, definitely one that will be on the setlist for years to come. MONSTER.”

‘Don’t Let It Out’, ‘Sirens’ and the vehement punk rush of ‘No Retreat, No Surrender’ show the versatility of the ‘People Like Me & You’ album. It’s clear that The Sherlocks have found the perfect balance between performing with a liberated abandon but also writing songs that reward repeated listens – a swaggeringly confident step forward that will engage new followers and still speak to fans of their Top 10 albums ‘Live For The Moment’ and ‘World I Understand’.

The three songs are all provided as instant downloads for fans who pre-order the album HERE. Physical format highlights include a picture disc, a yellow neon version, and a tricolour vinyl which is available exclusively via select independent record stores.

Completed by Alex Procter (guitar) and Trent Jackson (bass), The Sherlocks recently announced details of their biggest UKheadline tour to date, which commences in October – remaining tickets are available HERE.
