THE PRESTIGE release epic new track ‘Enfants Terribles’

Questioning how materialism sometimes defines relationships

From the stunning new album ‘Amer’

set for release 06 June 2025 via Banshies

Parisian hardcore band THE PRESTIGE have released another cut from their long-awaited forthcoming album ‘Amer’. “This song talks about the importance we give to objects, materialism in our relationships, and what we would actually do for the people we love,” says vocalist and guitarist Alex Diaz. “We often define our relationships through the things we share — what we own, what we give, what we hold onto. But at what point does that attachment to objects outweigh the connection itself? ‘Enfants Terribles’ questions that, exploring how far we would go and what we would sacrifice for the people who truly matter to us.”

A powerful instrumental onslaught right out the gates comes to an impactful climax as several friends of the band chime in on the chorus to sing ‘This is the beauty of our loss, running in and out of gold. This is no harbour.’ You can hear members of Birds In Row, As We Draw, Calvaiire, and Puzzle on the mic.

‘Amer’ will be out 06 June via French label Banshies and was produced by Amaury Sauvé. After a prolonged hiatus, The Prestige’s sound reemerges like a ghost that has never left us, more unique than ever. On ‘Amer’, you can expect dark riffs that grip you by the throat, intertwined with moments of melodic softness that create enchanting soundscapes. The album includes previously released tracks ‘Voir Dire’, ‘Bête Noire’ and ‘Léger de Main’, which further exemplify the band’s masterful manipulation of heavy and atmospheric musical elements. They’ll be continuing their return with vigour and another new album in November 2025 so stay tuned.

With years of concerts and tours across Europe and America alongside legends like Dillinger Escape Plan, Every Time I Die, Stray from the Path, Birds in Row, Black Peaks, and Joliette under their collective belt, The Prestige will be back on the road decimating stages across the globe very soon.
