The Lunar Effect Release Long-Awaited Third Album “Fortune’s Always Hiding” – Out today on Svart Records
British classic rock outfit The Lunar Effect are proud to announce the release of their third full-length studio album, “Fortune’s Always Hiding”, available on all major streaming platforms and physical formats this Friday, October 24th.
Fuelled by raw emotion, towering riffs, and a darker, more expansive sonic palette, “Fortune’s Always Hiding” marks a bold step forward for the band, while staying true to the heavy, soulful sound fans have come to love.
“This album has been a real journey for us; musically, emotionally, and personally”, the band shares. “We pushed ourselves further than ever before, and we’re incredibly proud of where we’ve landed. Fortune’s Always Hiding is about chasing meaning in a chaotic world, and we’re so excited for people to hear it.”.
Following the success of their critically acclaimed sophomore record “Sounds of Green & Blue”, the band spent the past year refining their craft, experimenting in the studio, and channelling the uncertainty of the times into a body of work that’s both deeply introspective and explosively alive.
With standout tracks like “Feed the Hand”, “Settle Down”, and the epic closing track “Nailed to the Sky”, the new album captures the band at their most dynamic and daring yet, blending thunderous grooves with haunting melodies and vivid lyricism.
To celebrate the release, The Lunar Effect will be hosting an album launch show at Blondies Brewery in London on October 25th, as well as playing major festivals in the UK in 2026 and bringing their electrifying stage presence to venues across Europe.
