First released in 2024 under the band’s original name Fate’s Hollow; Part I – Broken Crowns was a huge moment for the band, one that felt worth revisiting for the first anniversary.
Following a successful crowdfunding campaign, Part I – Broken Crowns was originally recorded as a fully independent effort in early 2024. at Camp Sunshine Studios and Pressure Drop Studios, and produced by Mike Lawetto.
Part I – Broken Crowns is the first entry in a planned series of concept albums. The story follows the life and times of Elo Harrick, a young Prince of a far off planet, betrayed and murdered by someone he once thought an ally.
Elo is resurrected as The Heir Apparition, a vengeful phantom seeking to piece together the remnants of his broken memories and ultimately find his place in a universe he doesn’t belong to anymore.
The Memento Mori Edition is a retuned, remastered version of that first album featuring improved mixes, new drum sampling, more precise masters and brand new artwork by artist Laurence Crow. It represents the album as it should be heard, and serves as the perfect introduction for new listeners as well as a great way to become reacquainted with the band for those who have been around since the beginning.
