All funds raised will support Nordoff and Robbins in training new music therapists
DONATE HERE Ross MacDonald, bassist from The 1975 and Brian MacDonald, bassist from American pop-rock band PVRIS, have set off on their ultimate UK cycling challenge, riding from Land’s End to John O’ Groats across two weeks to raise money for music therapy charity, Nordoff and Robbins. Also known as ‘LEJOG’, Ross and Brian are cycling the iconic 1,100 mile route from the most westerly point of mainland England to the northernmost point of mainland Scotland with friends Darren and Matt. Taking on all kinds of terrain and weather, they will cover distances of up to 100 miles a day. Custom jerseys for the ride have been provided by music and live entertainment marketplace, GigPig. It costs £19,000 for Nordoff and Robbins to train a music therapist over two years, and through this epic challenge, they are hoping to raise as much money as possible to go towards training the music therapists of the future, taking donations through charity fundraising platform, Enthuse, here: bit.ly/NR-ride. Support Ross and Brian by sharing these social media posts: Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and follow their journey over at @nordoffrobbins on Instagram. Nordoff and Robbins is the UK’s largest music therapy charity, with a unique approach shaped by more than 60 years of practice. Through training music therapists, its work can be transformative, from an adult with dementia reconnecting with family, to an autistic child finding their voice. |
