Graphic Nature, The Hara, and more join headliners PRESIDENT and Phil Campbell and the Bastard Sons

PRESIDENT to make their first ever festival headline appearance at Takedown Festival 2026

Award-nominated independent rock and metal festival, Takedown Festival, has today announced  ten more bands for its 2026 edition.

The festival returns to Portsmouth Guildhall on Friday 3rd and Saturday 4th April 2026, once again delivering a packed lineup of heavy music to the south coast.

Newly confirmed acts include Graphic Nature, who continue to cement their place as one of the UK’s most prominent new heavy acts, and The Hara, who bring their explosive, boundary-pushing alt-rock sound. Both will take to the stage on Saturday, alongside Mason HillThe Bottom LineMouldWaterlines, and Slackrr. On Friday, The Wildhearts, INME and Kill The Lights join the bill.

This year’s event will be headlined by PRESIDENT, marking the masked collective’s first ever festival headline slot. Having quickly gained a reputation as one of heavy music’s most exciting and unpredictable new forces, their Takedown 2026 performance promises to be a defining moment in their rise.

Also topping the lineup are Phil Campbell and the Bastard Sons, who bring decades of hard rock firepower with a special Motörhead.

Graphic Nature shares, “We’re stoked to announce that we will be headlining the Metal For Good Stage at Takedown Festival 2026. A cause close to our hearts. The Hara shares, “We are absolutely buzzing to be playing Takedown festival for the first time next year! Our new album THE FALLOUT drops January so we can’t wait to play some new music and open up the pits!!!”

INME’s vocalist Dave McPherson shares “It’s such a massive honour to be a part of the incredible Takedown Festival again! We’ll be bringing our ‘Butterfly Demons’ show, simultaneously celebrating the 20th anniversary of our album ‘White Butterfly’ and our long awaited new record ‘Demons’, as well as playing all the singalongs! We’re in the best place InMe has ever been and it’s a privilege to join this amazing lineup! Join us together in the name of love, fun and music!”

The Wildhearts vocalist Ginger shares, “We could not be more excited to be a part of Takedown Festival 2026! The event is always incredible and we cannot wait to bring our high octane horror show to that awesome stage. As massive Motörhead fans we are also buzzing to see Phil Campbell and the Bastard Sons play their killer Motörhead set.”

After an eight-year hiatus, the legendary festival made its triumphant return in 2023 with headliners Sleep Token and Skindred. Relocating from its Southampton University roots to the larger Portsmouth Guildhall, Takedown has re-established itself as one of the most important fixtures in the UK rock calendar.

Capping off an incredible comeback year, Takedown Festival was nominated for Best Small FestivalBest Metropolitan Festival, and the Grassroots Festival Award at the 2023 UK Festival Awards.
