Award-nominated independent rock and metal festival, Takedown Festival, has today announced ten more bands for its 2026 edition.
The festival returns to Portsmouth Guildhall on Friday 3rd and Saturday 4th April 2026, once again delivering a packed lineup of heavy music to the south coast.
Newly confirmed acts include Graphic Nature, who continue to cement their place as one of the UK’s most prominent new heavy acts, and The Hara, who bring their explosive, boundary-pushing alt-rock sound. Both will take to the stage on Saturday, alongside Mason Hill, The Bottom Line, Mould, Waterlines, and Slackrr. On Friday, The Wildhearts, INME and Kill The Lights join the bill.
This year’s event will be headlined by PRESIDENT, marking the masked collective’s first ever festival headline slot. Having quickly gained a reputation as one of heavy music’s most exciting and unpredictable new forces, their Takedown 2026 performance promises to be a defining moment in their rise.
Also topping the lineup are Phil Campbell and the Bastard Sons, who bring decades of hard rock firepower with a special Motörhead.
Graphic Nature shares, “We’re stoked to announce that we will be headlining the Metal For Good Stage at Takedown Festival 2026. A cause close to our hearts. We are all part of a unique community in the metal world. Our message is always about improving wellbeing within ourselves, something that Metal For Good connects with”
The Hara shares, “We are absolutely buzzing to be playing Takedown festival for the first time next year! Our new album THE FALLOUT drops January so we can’t wait to play some new music and open up the pits!!!”
