Sydney will support The Format at the Arizona State Fair date of their string of reunion shows on September 27. The show is sold out. She will then hit the road this fall for a nationwide, headline tour in support of ‘Peak Experience’. Support comes from the amazingly talented Gabrielle Grace. Kicking off October 24 in Oklahoma City and wrapping up November 22 in Austin, Texas, the tour will bring Sydney’s emotionally raw and guitar-driven indie rock to 22 cities across the U.S. hitting iconic venues like Mercury Lounge in New York City to The Earl in Atlanta and The Secret Group in Houston. Critics praised her for her honesty, wit, and ability to evade an impending mental breakdown by instead writing a really good song. Sydney has had a busy five years since then, writing and releasing her second album somebody in hell loves you in between a relentless touring schedule – supporting bands like Jimmy Eat World, Dashboard Confessional, The Front Bottoms, Oso Oso, Spanish Love Songs, and Michigander. With songs that pair unforgettable melodies and sick guitar riffs over the general feeling that you left the stove on, Sydney has been quietly building a discography that speaks directly to the overthinking masses.
