Swiss Metalcore Outfit DAYS OF RUIN Release New EP “Age Of Ignorance” on September 25th; Watch “Another Day In Hell” Lyric Video!
Bern-based metalcore unit DAYS OF RUIN has announced their comeback with an EP, six years after the release of the album “Extinction”. The new work is called “Age Of Ignorance” and it will be released on the 25th of September independently. Composed of 7 tracks for over almost 23 minutes of musical experience, “Age Of Ignorance” will be available as vinyl and digital.

The new EP “Age Of Ignorance” is a powerful journey through despair, betrayal, grief and the stubborn refusal to be broken. From the opening riff of “Another Day in Hell” to the defiant finale of “Stand Up,” DAYS OF RUIN hold nothing back.
Raw and unfiltered like life itself, this EP doesn’t ask for perfection. It asks for authenticity. A sign of humanity in a time that feels utterly artificial. “Age Of Ignorance” is classic metalcore built on death metal bones. Heavy, purposeful, and fiercely human.
The title says it plainly: this is an age that has forgotten how to grow, repeating the same cycles of failure, blind to its own past and to an uncertain future shaped by forces we created but can no longer steer. But “Age Of Ignorance” doesn’t end in defeat. It ends with a call to fight for a better future.
Fall to the ground, but get up again.
