Swedish Trio Wolver Reveal Final Single From New EP; ‘same2me’!

Following on from the clarion call of their previous singles, ‘Vegas Hustler’ and ‘soapboX Preacher’, Sweden’s rock troubadours Wolver take another step into the Mighty Realm of Evelas with latest single ‘same2me’, which released on September 5th! The new offering comes from their titillating collection of songs, taken shape as their upcoming EP “Act II: Scene I – Birth of an Empire”, which is set to arrive on October 3rd, 2025, through Rexius Records!

When talking about ‘same2me’, Wolver have said:
“Inspired by Orwell’s 1984, ‘same2me’ is a cry from inside the machine—a voice worn down by systems built to break you. It starts with quiet compliance, turns into quiet rage, and ends in a desperate search for meaning in a world where power wears a thousand faces but always feels the same. It’s about injustice, invisibility, and the aching question: what if I’d just been lovable?”

As they tune up the band and light the stage for their grand release in October, the group have stated the following:
““Act II: Scene I – Birth of an Empire” is the first chapter in the next phase of our journey. These new tracks are the first steps in pushing the boundaries of what we’ve created so far. Each song is a scene in this evolving narrative—facing the chaos, embracing the fight, and stepping into the unknown. This EP marks the beginning of something bigger, as we continue to build our empire one track at a time.”

Step into the world of Wolver, where modern rock meets the mystique of a dark traveling show. Originating from Karlstad, Sweden, this trio weaves heavy, riff-driven rock with grand harmonies and immersive storytelling, drawing sonic inspiration from Muse and Queen. But beyond the music lies a deeper concept: a fictional universe that unfolds with each release.

Since their 2020 debut “Act I: It Starts with a Bow”—praised by Sweden Rock Magazine (8/10)—Wolver has built a loyal following for their theatrical performances and conceptual depth. Their story follows The Protagonist, The Brawler, and The Bard, three outcasts guided by The Raven in a rebellion against the oppressive force known as The Master. Each show invites the audience into this ever-evolving tale, where real-world injustices are mirrored through fiction.

Through a series of odd events – call it fate if you will – a life form known as The Raven had appeared before the three individuals, guiding and uniting them as one. Together, they form the peculiar act of Wolver, traveling through every part of this world, following The Raven in their quest of making a name for themselves and informing people of the many injustices and tyrannies the people are forced to live under.

The Master, who goes by many names, and has taken upon himself in enslaving every man, woman and child in this world is angered by this act of rebellious intent and what it stands for. Using his servants in many forms, he initiates a great hunt for Wolver and their Remarkable Traveling Show and will stop at nothing to track them down and capture them.

Through various scenography and storytelling throughout their show, Wolver invites you to become part of this story, to be your own character, and to cross-reference problems in their fictional world with those in the real world. By combining their music with their concept, and delivering it through the show, it all culminates in one word: MAGIC.
