Suffer Announce New Single “Pendulum of Vengeance” – Out Friday 13th March 2026 |
UK deathcore heavyweights Suffer return with renewed intensity and a bold new era, announcing the release of their latest single, Pendulum of Vengeance, arriving Friday 13th March 2026 across all major streaming platforms. An official music video will premiere the same day at 5PM UK time via Slam Worldwide on YouTube. Formed in late 2018, Suffer quickly established themselves as a force within the UK and European deathcore underground. The band made their live debut in April 2019 supporting Annotations of an Autopsy in Birmingham and followed up with their first release, Slerm, in July of that year. Over the next five years, the band built a reputation for relentless output and ferocious live performances, releasing multiple singles and videos, the ‘Heavy Silence’ EP, and their debut full-length album ‘The Sorrow We Sow, The Hatred We Know’. Extensive touring across the UK and Europe saw them share stages with some of the genre’s most formidable acts. In April 2024, founding members Ash and Chobba parted ways with the band, marking the end of Suffer’s first chapter. After a transitional period that included two singles and a one-off live performance, the band made the decision to forge a new creative direction, ushering in what is now their third and most ambitious era to date. As of August 2025, Suffer re-emerged with a revitalised lineup, welcoming Greg Hevican on vocals and Klaudiusz Trzebuniak on guitar. With a renewed vision and sharpened sound, the band has already played several explosive live shows and signed with DC Sound Attack for exclusive bookings, setting the stage for a landmark year ahead. ‘Pendulum of Vengeance’ serves as the first statement from this new lineup. The track explores the deeply human pull toward revenge, examining the satisfaction and gratification often tied to retribution. |

Pendulum of Vengeance is a song about the satisfaction and gratification you can take away from exacting revenge upon someone. The band states: “It represents how this instinct is part of who we are as a species — that for most people, our thought process leans toward vengeance before it ever leans toward peaceful resolution.” They continue: “The pendulum in the title symbolises the inevitability of that cycle. No matter what happens when revenge is taken, the pendulum still swings left to right. The person you exact revenge upon will often look to do the same in return — it becomes a continuous, endless cycle.” The single was written and composed by Suffer, with lyrics by Greg Hevican. Recording and editing were handled by Anthony Wall at Firestorm Studios, while tone creation, mixing, and mastering were completed by Will Cattanach at Freewill Productions. Visual production, including photography and videography, was captured by Chris at Brooker Films. Pendulum of Vengeance marks the beginning of a major rollout for Suffer in 2026. A second single is scheduled for May, followed by a brand new EP in August. The band will also take their new material on the road with extensive touring planned across the UK, Ireland, and mainland Europe, with additional announcements coming soon. With a renewed lineup, sharpened identity, and an uncompromising vision, Suffer are poised to make 2026 their most defining year yet.
