Friday, October 24th, 2025 – São Paulo rock band StarAce officially arrive with Real, their debut album featuring 12 tracks of uncompromising rock authenticity. The album drops today alongside its title track “Real,” a blazing statement about truth, perseverance, and staying genuine in an artificial world. Listen in full HERE

Produced by David Frangioni (Aerosmith, KISS, Ringo Starr), Real spans genres from hard rock anthems to folk-tinged ballads, country-western influences to blues-rock swagger. The collection represents songs that capture StarAce’s evolution from underground Brazilian rockers to international artists ready to make their mark.

“We’ve worked so hard on this album — and it finally became Real!” explains frontman Julio Starace. “This record is the culmination of years of work that began just after the Covid-19 pandemic, when we started recording the first demos for ‘Mystical Cat’ and ‘Dark Side.’ Each song received special care — crafted and refined from the very bones of the lyrics and arrangements, all the way through the mixing and mastering process.”

The title track “Real” serves as a mission statement. More than a song, it’s StarAce’s proclamation that authenticity wins over artifice, that truth lives in music, and that every goal is only worth pursuing if it’s genuine. With blazing riffs and striking arrangements, the track invites listeners to move forward without masks or limitations.

“In a time where everyday we have AI, we always have REAL. Our song, our world, our lives. All REAL,” notes Julio about the single’s contemporary relevance.

Producer David Frangioni, whose credits include Aerosmith, Ozzy Osbourne, and Scorpions, recognized something special in the Brazilian band’s material: “REAL is as real as rock ‘n’ roll gets, from the beginning to the end of the album, put on your seatbelt! These songs are a story that everyone can relate to, because they’re REAL!”

The album showcases the full StarAce lineup: brothers Julio (vocals/guitar), Luiz (bass), and Thomaz Starace (drums), plus guitarist Chris Dias and keyboardist/vocalist Bia Tucci. Their chemistry translates across Real’s diverse sonic palette, which Julio describes as exploring “themes like the overload of information, the pursuit of knowledge, philosophy, power, fast communication, technology, beauty, mysticism, love — and pure Rock and Roll!”

Recorded primarily with live instruments to capture organic energy while embracing modern production techniques, Real demands to be experienced from start to finish. The band will bring their explosive live show to European audiences this fall, delivering the kind of incendiary performances that have made them a must-see act. Spanish and Portuguese dates begin November 26th in Madrid, where audiences can expect the raw power and electric chemistry that transforms these album tracks into full-contact rock experiences. Tickets available HERE.

Real represents nearly two years of remote collaboration with Frangioni, who produced the entire 12-track collection while the band recorded from São Paulo. The album spans the gypsy jazz swagger of “When The Light Has Gone” to the anthemic hope of “My America,” with “Right In The Middle” showcasing their most direct and uncompromising side.

StarAce continues building momentum as one of Brazil’s most promising rock exports, combining authentic family chemistry with cutting-edge production techniques and undeniable rock n roll spirit. Their music bridges classic rock heritage with contemporary relevance, speaking to audiences hungry for genuine expression in an increasingly polarized world

ABOUT STARACE

StarAce is more than just a band—it’s a brotherhood of sound and spirit. Hailing from São Paulo, Brazil, brothers Julio, Luiz, and Thomaz Starace have spent years refining their craft, creating a distinct fusion of classic rock, blues, and American roots music with a modern edge. Raised in a household filled with music, their early exposure shaped their passion for storytelling and musicianship. After experimenting under various names like Ferrorama and Ted Marengos, they ultimately returned to StarAce, a name that embodies both their family heritage and artistic evolution.

With influences spanning a who’s who of rock ‘n’ roll legends such as Led Zeppelin, Bob Dylan, The Rolling Stones, and Muddy Waters, StarAce’s music is a blend of raw energy, intricate vocal melodies, and heartfelt lyricism. Their sound bridges past and present, layering soulful guitar riffs, grooving bass lines, and dynamic drum beats with emotionally driven storytelling. Their upcoming debut album, produced by David Frangioni (Aerosmith, KISS, Ringo Starr), captures this fusion of classic and contemporary, delivering a collection of hard-hitting anthems and soul-stirring ballads that showcase their depth as musicians.

Each member brings a unique essence to the band’s chemistry—Julio leads with his powerful vocals and intricate guitar work, drawing from the greats like Neil Young and Jimmy Page. Luiz anchors the rhythm section, blending Paul McCartney’s melodic sensibilities with Geddy Lee’s technical prowess, while Thomaz commands the drums with precision, balancing raw energy and a refined flare with a producer’s ear for sonic excellence.

With their roots deeply embedded in classic rock and their vision set on the future, StarAce is ready to carve their own path and bring timeless rock ‘n’ roll into a new era. They’re not here to save the world, they’re here to bring people together and provide fans with the soundtrack to their own salvation. After years of refining their vision and sound, their long-awaited debut album, Real, is a bold, genre-spanning statement from a band ready to leave their mark on the world.
