Chicago emo pop-rock band Spitalfield have been celebrating over 20 years of their emo scene staple album ‘Remember Right Now’, which was released via Victory Records in 2003. They’ll be revisiting the record’s singalong classics with a UK headline tour this September & October, for which they’ll be playing it in its entirety. Tickets on sale now.

The connections on the tour run deep, as Spitalfield first toured with Jonah Matranga in 2005, while he was fronting the band Gratitude, on the Alternative Press Tour in the US. The same year, on their very first tour of the UK with Fall Out Boy, their bassist TJ Minich filled in on bass for FOB because Pete Wentz couldn’t make the trip (last minute). He played two sets every night! Jon Walker grew up in the same Chicagoland scene as Spitalfield, and even played the ‘Remember Right Now’ album release show with one of his former bands, 504 Plan. He’s done solo tours with Mark Rose, and has been playing guitar as a touring member of the band on and off since they reformed.
Spitalfield, who are in fact named after the Spitalfields area of London, released a new EP, their first new music in nearly 20 years, in 2025. Titled ‘Play+Record’, it was mixed by Sean O’Keefe (who engineered, mixed, & produced ‘Remember Right Now’ back in 2003) and the vinyl was released as a collab with Hawthorne Heights’ label, Skeleton Club, w/ bonus “re-imagined” B-Sides, including a new version of ‘I Loved the Way She Said L.A.’ You can now watch a documentary clip, lovingly crafted by the band, about the origins of the iconic track.
Spitalfield formed in the suburbs of Chicago in 1998, playing emo pop-rock with a twist—and somehow, it stuck. Fronted by vocalist/guitarist Mark Rose, the band’s most beloved lineups have featured Dan Lowder on lead guitar (2001–2007, 2023–present), TJ Minich on bass (2002–2005, 2023–present), TJ Milici on bass (2005-2007), and JD Romero on drums (1998–2007). New drummer Drew Brown (Weekend Nachos) joined the band in 2023 and appears on the ‘Play+Record’ EP.
