South Arcade take us all back to 2005!

It’s hard to believe that 2005 was 2 decades ago! The unstoppable rising stars South Arcade have just released an amazing video packed full of early noughties references for their incredible new song, 2005. From vintage adverts to classic bands of the era, watch the video and see how many you can spot!

South Arcade are undoubtedly one of the most exciting emerging artists around at the moment. Consistently writing great songs in their own inimitable sound and style coupled with not-to-be-missed live performances that always sell out in minutes, they are a fresh new artist that you can no longer ignore!

With over 2.6million streams already on 2005, over 12 million streams across their EP and almost 800,000 monthly listeners on Spotify alone, 9.9million likes on TikTok, frequent plays and support at Radio 1 and a show at London’s iconic KOKO that sold out almost immediately, they are certainly a force to be reckoned with.

Self-produced by the band and mixed by multi-platinum and multi-Grammy Award winning producer Rich Costey (Linkin Park, Muse, Foo Fighters), 2005 is the title track from South Arcade’s recently released debut EP, which includes stone cold summerMOTH KIDS and HOW 2 GET AWAY WITH MURDER.

The four-piece are set to play their biggest shows yet at Manchester’s Academy 3 on Thursday 13th March and London’s KOKO on Friday 14th March – both of which sold out in minutes. Following these shows, they head straight out on the road as the support for American singer songwriter and musician Bilmuri’s huge European Tour and then head to the US with American pop-punk band Magnolia Park for over 25 dates. This Summer they play Slam Dunk in May and following a riotous headline of the BBC Introducing stage in 2024, they were invited back onto the main stage at Reading & Leeds this year!
