Skip Class and The Dropouts Shares Stand-Out New Single “Bad Guys Finish First”
Nashville, TN — Rock band, Skip Class and The Dropouts, are sharing their radiant new track “Bad Guys Finish First” on July 11. The track follows swiftly behind the release of track such as “Sauce” and “Money.”
“Bad Guys Finish First” is a confident track that binds together rock tones with groovy melodies. Skip Class and The Dropouts creates a unique energy drawing listeners in with their beaming guitar solos and refreshing vocals.
“Originally this was written for Wes from Puddle of Mudd because we’ve had a working relationship. He was busy at the time so we took it back and finished it. We wanted to play on the “nice guys finish last” idiom. But it’s also social commentary on society and how messed up things are. Regardless of who you voted for, our world is pretty dicey and it often feels like the bad guys win!” – Skip Class and The Dropouts.
About Skip Class and The Dropouts: Upon releasing their debut EP “Orientation” in 2024, they’ve quickly established themselves as one of the most exciting and unique live acts in the Chicago music scene. They call their sound “eclectic rock,” as they use various influences in their music. Their catchy hooks and melodies collide with driving solos and pulsating, fun grooves. With a pop sensibility of the 90’s but the spirit of the 70’s, “Skip Class” keeps you singing along and dancing.
