Since 2000 is a brand new rock four-piece based in Glasgow, Scotland. The band was born from the natural outgrowth of vocalist and songwriter Dan Antonio’s solo project, which initially launched in late 2022. Taking influence from a multitude of styles: including but not limited to – early 2000s alt metal, EDM, contemporary pop as well as movie soundtracks, Since 2000 deliver a heavy, hard-hitting and infectious genre-bending musical experience. Joined by guitarists Ben Main and Will Leuty as well as drummer Reuben Selman to complete the line-up, this young band promises to deliver a large offering of new music in 2024, with the band set to release their debut EP in the first quarter of the year.Having already begun cutting their teeth on the live circuit, notably opening for BEX at Glasgow’s Nice N Sleazy in November, the band will make their live debut as Since 2000 in 2024 opening for Drew Davies at his album launch show at The Old Hairdressers on the 1st of Feb.

‘eyes for you is about finding the right person after coming out of a really dark place, and how they can help you reconnect and rediscover how beautiful a loving relationship can be. But it also delves into the challenges of dealing with the emotional baggage that we inevitably bring to the table when we’re getting to know someone new and how two people must address and negotiate their flaws in order to establish a sustainable relationship. A lot of our lyrics deal with quite tough subject matter and talk about navigating through difficult situations, but it felt essential to also address more positive life changing experiences such as falling in love and settling into a long-term relationship, and how that can make you a much stronger and more grounded person.
