Following this weekend’s DOWNLOAD FESTIVAL performance, visionary British prog-metal legends SIKTH have announced two very special performances to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their sophomore album Death Of A Dead Day. Taking place in February 2026 at Manchester’s Academy 2 and London’s O2 Forum Kentish Town, the shows will see the band’s founding members – Mikee Goodman (vocals), Justin Hill (vocals), Dan Weller (guitar), Graham Pinney (guitar), James Leach (bass) and Dan Foord (drums) – reunite to perform the iconic record in its entirety. Support will come from HERIOT.

Speaking on the shows, Goodman shares:
“We are excited to perform Death of a Dead Day on its 20th anniversary, with Justin Hill singing this album live for the first time ever, alongside myself and the rest of the band. We’re looking forward to playing it in its entirety.

“Also, for those who may not know — Justin Hill is back in the band. He is, and we’re planning to get busier from next year onwards.”

Originally released on 6th June 2006 (06/06/06) and featuring a horde of fan favourite tracks including ‘Bland Street Bloom‘, ‘Flogging The Horses‘ and ‘Sanguine Seas Of Bigotry‘, Death Of A Dead Day established the band as one of the most forward thinking, progressive and boundary breaking artists in heavy music. Revisiting the album will show that the same is true today, the music as vital and important as it always has been and continuing to grab the attention of artists and fans alike. For fans of the band, regardless of whether you discovered them two decades ago or today, these shows are unmissable.

Tickets will go on general sale from 10am BST on Friday 20th June from http://myticket.co.uk/artists/sikth

ABOUT SIKTH
SIKTH
are widely regarded as pioneers of the djent/tech and progressive metal movement. Formed in 1999 in Watford, England, the band solidified their influential six-piece lineup in 2001: vocalists Mikee Goodman and Justin Paul Hill, guitarists Dan Weller and Pin, bassist James Leach, and drummer Dan Foord. After two acclaimed EPs, SIKTH released their groundbreaking debut album The Trees Are Dead & Dried Out Wait for Something Wild in 2003, followed by the fan-favourite Death of a Dead Day in 2006. Known for their frenetic energy, complex arrangements, and dual-vocal assault, SIKTH quickly earned a cult following through relentless touring and major festival appearances. In 2007, Goodman and Hill stepped away from the band to pursue other ventures, and SIKTH disbanded soon after. However, their influence only grew, cited by a new wave of progressive and technical metal bands.Following a surge in demand, SIKTH reunited in 2014, returning triumphantly to headline a stage at Download Festival. In 2015, they released the Opacities mini-album, followed by a sold-out UK tour and a major arena tour supporting Slipknot. After this run, Hill departed once again, with Joe Rosser stepping in on vocals. The band’s third full-length album, The Future in Whose Eyes?, arrived in 2017.

Justin Hill rejoined SIKTH in 2022, with the band headlining a sold-out show at London’s Electric Ballroom.

To date, SIKTH have toured across 26 countries, leaving their mark on stages worldwide. Members of the band have also collaborated or guested with artists from Iron Maiden, Deftones, Cypress Hill, Periphery, Devin Townsend, and more — underlining their continued influence and relevance in heavy music.
