Bosh! Seb Lowe’s teasers for his new single have seen fans calling it his best yet and demanding its release, while also finding solace in a community who will be “on the right side of history in these truly fucked up times.” And now that long-awaited track surfaces as he unveils ‘Don’t Say No To Hitler’.
‘Don’t Say No To Hitler’ takes Seb Lowe’s lyrically intense indie-pop stomp and reimagines it in the context of a heady Weimar Republic cabaret, while its lyrics feel like Timur Vermes’ cult novel ‘Look Who’s Back’ updated for the continually grotesque current affairs of 2026. As for who it is targeting? Let’s face it, we can all work it out – but we don’t need to feed algorithmic radicalisation by directly naming them.
Seb says, “‘Don’t Say No to Hitler’ is a song about the enabling, and glorification of, far-right personalities in modern popular culture. The story centers around mainstream media executives resurrecting Adolf Hitler and marketing him as a vaguely controversial, populist celebrity. It’s a bombastic song, scathing of those who forfeit any moral obligation as a means to their own end, particularly in television. Ultimately, racism and bigotry shouldn’t be excused simply because it comes out the mouth of a funny bloke who sounds like your mate.”
‘Don’t Say No To Hitler’ was written by Seb Lowe and was produced by James Skelly of The Coral.
At a time in which protest songs seem to be oddly sparse, Seb Lowe is standing up to be counted. Politics, social injustice and misogyny are all in his crosshairs, but there’s a dark humour to lift the tone of his righteous anger. His attitude is affirmed by songs like ‘Ode To Brittania’ and ‘Kill Him, He’s A Socialist’ but in the likes of ‘Football Players’ and ‘Cats & Dogs’ he uses day-to-day experiences as allegories for bigger topics.
It’s an artistic ethos which is connecting with a growing, like-minded audience with over 40 million streams to date at Spotify alone and 13 million+ likes at TikTok.
While growing online, Seb Lowe’s talents are being discovered IRL too with intense touring which brings his eye-catching charisma into sharp focus. Joined by his band – Kate Couriel (violin) and Joel Goodwin (drums) – Seb Lowe will embark upon a UK headline tour in April before joining rising dark pop queen Sofia Isella on the road throughout Europe in May – leading up to a big London show at the Roundhouse.
