SCORCHED EARTH POLICY release debut EP on DAZE

Touring with Outta Pocket and Sin Against Sin

Last month, upstate New York hardcore band SCORCHED EARTH POLICY semi-introduced themselves with the crushingly heavy single “SAY GOODNIGHT.”  While photos of the band still have yet to surface, more music has emerged with their self-titled debut out today on DAZE. Comprised of members of Missing Link, Laid 2 Rest, and more, the band take influence from acts such as Dying Breed, Stigmata, and War-Time Manner.

A medieval style intro opens up the self-recorded SCORCHED EARTH POLICY EP before diving into four punishing tracks. While there may not be swords swinging, fists and feet will definitely fly with “YOU’RE NEXT” and “FIRST BREATH” made to incite moshpit violence.

The band will play their first shows starting next week, on a northeast tour supporting Outta Pocket and Sin Against Sin. This October, they’ll join Missing Link, King Nine, and Criminal Instinct on a weekend run. More info below.
