RELEASES BOLD NEW TRACK ‘PINK PUSH UP BRA’
OUT NOW via HOPELESS RECORDS

SCENE QUEEN is back like she never left. The pink clad metalcore queen has released an all new track, ‘Pink Push Up Bra’, and it’s one of her most angsty yet. The track serves as the follow-up to her viral track ’18+’ which called out sexual abuse in the music industry, and her latest once again holds up a lens to the male gaze. With her latest female power anthem, SCENE QUEEN is making her voice heard and reinventing the male-dominated metal music scene.

On the new single, SCENE QUEEN states: “I wanted a song about finally getting the justice you deserve because I realise that doesn’t happen for a lot of women. I was having a not so great day that ended up turning into one of my new favourite songs. The idea for the song actually came to me in the shower as I was getting ready for the studio session because I was feeling very triggered that day. I was an hour late to the session because of it, but knew it would be a quick write. The whole song top to bottom took about 2.5 hours total to write and record. It’s probably my most rage filled song and one of my heaviest. I hope anyone that relates gets the justice they deserve or at least can use it as an outlet for all the complex emotions that go along with the trauma of assault.“

SCENE QUEEN (AKA Hannah Collins) is not here to be quiet, and she is not here to apologise. With lyrics that come for the throat of misogynists and genre purists, Collins is not afraid to disrupt the peace. Don’t be fooled by SCENE QUEEN‘s colourful pink image. She’s as fierce as she is vibrant, with angst packed between every punchy lyric. SCENE QUEEN is the epitome of the new emo scene. A new scene where everyone is welcome. Her music shows the cracks in society and breaks down the walls we put up everyday. To show that although this new scene may look different, we are all pink on the inside.
