Scarlet Rebels Release Album ‘Where The Colours Meet’—Out Now on All Platforms via Earache Records

This new release marks a bold evolution in the band’s sound, incorporating lush instrumentation, piano, keyboards, and expansive drum sounds. The album is a dynamic blend of fluid guitar lines, tasteful leads, and irresistible choruses, all delivered with a contemporary, full-on sound.

This time around, Scarlet Rebels have teamed up with multi-award-winning blues artist Elles Bailey, whose velvety vocals elevate the co-written track “Out Of Time.” Additionally, Ricky Warwick (Black Star Riders, The Almighty) contributes his songwriting expertise to the high-octane album closer, “My House My Rules.” Fans will also be thrilled to hear studio versions of “Let Me In” and “Practice Run,” two tracks that have become staples in the band’s live sets.

Scarlet Rebels are Wayne Doyle on vocals and guitar, Chris Jones on lead guitar, Gary Doyle on drums, and Carl Oag on bass guitar.

“We’re absolutely delighted that the next chapter in the Scarlet Rebels story is out now!” says frontman Wayne Doyle. “The singles that have been released have had an overwhelmingly positive response, and now we can present the whole picture of Where The Colours Meet. We’re super excited to see what people think.”

He continues, “We’d love for people to join us during release week to celebrate the album and hear our live and acoustic interpretations of the songs. We can’t wait to hear the Rebel chorus in full swing!”

Where The Colours Meet also sees Wayne Doyle exploring raw emotions like never before, with lyrics that boldly critique business fat cats and government policies responsible for the suffering of many families in the UK.

“I genuinely feel it’s the best set of songs we’ve written,” Wayne shares. Songwriting Magazine echoes this sentiment, praising the band’s craftsmanship: “Channelling the best of classic rock but never failing to build from the foundations of solid songwriting, it’s music that chooses its accoutrements wisely.”

Classic Rock Magazine adds, “Arena-friendly choruses. The most recent single ‘Let Me In’ just won Classic Rock’s Tracks of the Week,” while Powerplay awarded the album a perfect 10/10, noting, “There’s nothing better than when a band you love releases something that makes you question your previous belief that perfection had already been achieved. Scarlet Rebels have just reinvented themselves and ascended to another level.”

Reflecting on the journey, Wayne says, “It’s been a long time coming for us as a band, but for me personally, it’s been a lifetime’s worth of work.”

Having already secured a spot in the UK Top 10 charts with their previous album, Scarlet Rebels are now poised to bring Welsh rock back into the mainstream spotlight with Where The Colours Meet, available now on all platforms.
