“thrilling first effort from an artist who has much to say, and the exceptional talent to say it in such a short length of time” – Pitchfork

“Over the years, Roberts and his band have continued to blend genres, crafting engaging, melodic songs” – Americana UK

19th February 2025 – Canadian rock band, Sam Roberts Band are set to make waves once again with the release of their new album Frequencies, out 28th March 2025 via Kartel Music Group. To mark the announcement, the band have unveiled a special remix of their track ‘All Of Us’, reimagined by fellow Montréaler Liam O’Neil (The Stills, Kings of Leon). To celebrate the release, Sam Roberts Band will also be hitting the UK for two exclusive headline shows: Manchester’s Deaf Institute and London’s O2 Academy at the end of February. Pre-order Frequencies here. Tickets can be found here.

Upcoming album, Frequencies is a carefully curated collection of songs that, while familiar to their North American audience, will be receiving a full-fledged release in the UK for the first time. As a special addition, the album will include a newly recorded version of ‘Brother Down’, the band’s breakthrough single from their debut album We Were Born In A Flame. This fresh take captures the energy and evolution of the song as it has been performed night after night over the decades.

“We’re very happy to have partnered with a new label and musical family in the UK, Kartel,” says Sam Roberts. “With these new boots on the ground, and as we continue working on our next studio album, we wanted to put together a collection of songs we’d like you to hear – songs that weren’t given a full-blooded release on your side of the pond.”

The newly released ‘All Of Us’ remix sees O’Neil take the track on an unexpected journey, bringing a fresh perspective to the song. “Liam took this one for an unexpected walk, and we loved it. We hope you do too,” adds Roberts.

With Frequencies, Sam Roberts Band offers both longtime fans and new listeners a chance to experience their music in a new light. The album is set for release on 28th March 2025 via Kartel Music Group.
