Azerbaijani-born alt-rock artist Sabina Beyli returns with her powerful new single, ‘Bones’.

A stark and deeply personal release, ‘Bones’ explores body image struggles and the lasting impact of disordered eating, delivered through raw, atmospheric production and unfiltered lyricism. Stripping things back emotionally, the track stands as one of Sabina’s most honest moments to date – balancing vulnerability with a message of healing and self-compassion.

Now based between Boston and New York, Sabina continues to build momentum with her genre-blending sound and fearless storytelling.

Speaking of the single Sabina Beyli shares, “Bones is a  personal record rooted in my lifelong struggle with body image and eating disorders. I wrote the song with my friend and co-writer Tuta, following a session where my producer and I built the instrumental. Once the production was in place, the emotion poured out naturally, it became less about writing a song and more about telling the truth. The record reflects the psychological weight of disordered eating, self-criticism, and the way these struggles quietly consume so many people. “Bones” is not about glorifying pain, it’s about recovery, awareness, and compassion. Millions of people live with these battles every day, often in silence, and this song is my way of saying: you’re not alone, healing is possible, and we need to be kinder to ourselves and each other.”

Sabina Beyli’s journey with music began at just five years old, when she first heard Christina Aguilera in the car with her father. That moment sparked a lifelong passion, leading to music school at six and vocal training at eight.

Her sound blends raw emotion with genre-bending creativity, drawing on influences from Paramore, The Neighbourhood, Mitski, Pierce the Veil, and Evanescence. Inspired by her personal experiences, Sabina writes about self-image, relationships, betrayal, and inner struggles – turning vulnerability into strength.

Her latest work showcases her most honest songwriting yet. ‘Bad Habits’ explores the difficulty of breaking destructive patterns, while ‘Culprit’ tells the story of betrayal and broken trust. Working closely with producer and fellow Berklee alum Mike Midura, her writing process flows between spontaneous inspiration and structured craft – often created late at night when emotions are most raw.

Listening to Sabina’s music is best experienced on full volume in the car or late at night with headphones, where her atmospheric soundscapes amplify daydreams and raw introspection.

Beyond her music, Sabina has built a strong social media following of over 100,000 on Instagram, collaborated with respected songwriters and producers including Skylar Mones, JD Walker, and Mike Midura, and earned press recognition for her singles and debut EP. She also made history as the first Azerbaijani woman to graduate from Berklee College of Music.

Her artistry is driven by freedom – constantly evolving, never confined to one genre. Sabina hopes her music inspires others to embrace their true selves, chase their dreams, and take bold risks.
