July 21, 2022 – New York, NY: RY X will play an exclusive show without an audience, live from Brazil on Monday July 25th. The concert is produced by Cercle, returning to Brazil at Lençóis Maranhenses National Park in the state of Maranhão, the largest field of sand dunes in South America: 155
thousand hectares! It is a protected area in northeastern Brazil. The white thin sand of the desert dunes contrasts with the freshwater lagoons in this natural paradise. A unique scenario where you can be touched by the immensity of the venue’s landscape when seen from the top. Located in the northwest of Maranhão (Brazillian state) and 2.834,3 km from Rio de Janeiro, Lençóis Maranhenses attracts tourists for this phenomenon. For most of the year, it exists as a network of large and discrete sand dunes. Then, the rainy season fills its valleys with water, creating unique lagoons next to the white sand.

Cercle is a French media company dedicated to promoting artists and venues with an exceptional production. Their goal is to raise awareness around art, cultural heritage sites and great sceneries through the two noble and federating arts that are music and video. Throughout his career, RY X has sought to engage in all forms of artistic expression and gravitates towards connection (to nature, emotions, body and spirit, to the human experience). During the show he’ll be accompanied by other musicians including a string quartet.
The livestream comes soon after the digital release of RY X’s critically acclaimed third studio album Blood Moon. The multifaceted, transcendental set features thirteen beautifully arranged songs which sees RY X meditate upon the relationships he has experienced over the years. From that introspective angle, the singer, songwriter and producer has crafted a philosophical collection which observes and asks questions regarding an integral aspect of the human condition. RY X also brings his production skills to Drake’s new album on the track ‘Sticky,’ collaborating with producer Gordo.

While Blood Moon is now available digitally, the album’s physical formats will be released on August 26th. The CD and new merch designs are available exclusively via RY X’s official store, while a limited edition smokey double-vinyl will be available from his official store and key indie record stores. RY X will follow the release of Blood Moon with extensive worldwide touring. He will play across Europe in July and August, before touring North America in September and October.
