Today, the critically-acclaimed alternative artist has unveiled her new single ‘DEAD GIRL WALKING‘, a pulverising anthem that represents strength, confidence and and the inextinguishable fire that’s fuelling her ascension through the alternative scene. | RØRY was also recently announced among the first wave of artists to perform at Download Festival 2026, joining the critically acclaimed festival line-up alongside headliners Limp Bizkit, Guns N Roses, Linkin Park and many, many more incredible bands. In a viral announcement video that has now has over a million views, RØRY joked:
“I’m disappointed in the Download line up this year, and quite frankly somebody has got to say it. It’s not the headliners – Linkin Park, Guns N Roses, Limp Bizkit, that’s really good. Bad Omens, Architects, amazing. Have you seen that delusional old ADHD bitch on there?! Download have let themselves go.” RØRY‘s music serves as a form of therapy for her fans and it provides the same service for her, too. Anger and rage are new emotions for her and learning how to harness them has opened up an exciting, new and shadowy world to explore. ‘DEGRADATION’ saw her take her first steps in that world, ‘DEAD GIRL WALKING’ sees her get more comfortable with her surroundings, and there’s plenty more to come.
