Raw, visceral, and unapologetic, Roger Bacon burst onto the Glasgow local scene in late 2024, quickly amassing a cult following for their explosive performances and innovative take on alternative music. Combining delicate guitar sounds, thumping rhythms, and what can only be described as screaming whispers from frontman Strath, Roger Bacon aims to pioneer a new genre in the indie music landscape.

Turning every venue they play into a pulpit for their raucous, offbeat gospel, the band delivers everything heard in their recordings and more – Roger Bacon doesn’t just play gigs; they stage events. Examples of this include winning a battle of the bands, their first-ever gig, and leaving the venue to an ensemble of voices chanting ‘Bacon.’ Although new to the world, Roger Bacon is set to bring the sizzle in the coming months.

Previous single ‘Heathen Pig’ received their best airplay to-date with pick-ups globally across the UK, USA, Australia, Brazil and Germany amongst other countries, and has provided the band with more visibility as they move forward with this forthcoming new release and live shows.
