Since their inception in 2019, REVOLUTION RABBIT DELUXE have carved out a niche with their infectious, politically-tinged sound — a raw cocktail of melody, edge, and defiance. Fusing the sharp lyrical prowess of XTC and Billy Bragg with the explosive energy of Pixies, Smashing Pumpkins, and Manic Street Preachers, they’ve consistently delivered music that’s both thought-provoking and sonically gripping.
Fronted by the enigmatic Rev Rabbit (guitar, vocals), alongside Tim Lawley (bass), Max Perera (lead guitar, backing vocals), and Lee Titterrell (drums), the band have already dropped five acclaimed albums, including Tales From Armaggedonsville, Swipe Left, Myths and Fables, The Great Divide, and Control Freaks — the latter two launched via SWND Records before the label’s closure.
REVOLUTION RABBIT DELUXE are now poised to step up with their ferocious new album, Rise. The record is rammed with propulsive drums, jagged guitars, and ultra contagious choruses. Rev Rabbit remarks about the release: “This is an album forged in angst and frustration with the world system as it stands, where the weak and needy are pushed aside and wealth is worshipped. Each song tackles an aspect of our dissatisfaction. It’s time to change the world. It’s time to rise.”
