LOS ANGELES, CA – May 16, 2025 – After shaking the indie rock scene with their visceral single “Guitar Cable Technical” and their gritty reinterpretation of Bob Dylan’s “Make You Feel My Love,” Reverse Pathogen is back with their highly anticipated second studio album, Accidentally Fetishized — an unapologetic return to the raw, unfiltered core of rock music. Listen to Accidentally Fetishized here. Entirely self-produced by frontman Clayton Thomas, with drums masterfully delivered by the legendary Josh Freese (Foo Fighters, Devo, Vandals), Accidentally Fetishized is a scathing response to the sterilization of modern rock. Avoiding overproduction in favor of analog warmth, the album is a defiant celebration of imperfection. For fans who want more, the journey doesn’t end there. On May 17, Reverse Pathogen will release a deluxe edition of the album, Accidentally Fetishized Cover Girl, featuring additional tracks that deepen their commitment to redefining modern rock authenticity. Clayton Thomas, formerly known in the hip-hop scene as ghostluvme (303k), found his true voice by embracing his rock roots. He’s worked with Lil Uzi Vert, Future, Trippie Redd and many more and with millions of streams on the debut album. A former D1 football player who walked away from a promising sports career to chase music, Clayton channels rebellion in its purest form — blending baritone vocals, vintage production, and a searing disdain for fake punk posturing. Leading up to the album, the band released “Bleed For This,” a blistering anthem of defiance. “It’s about anti-image, anti-clout,” says Thomas. “It stands against fake wannabe punk rockers and celebrates real rock music and authentic rebellion.” From the explosive opener to the searing closer, Accidentally Fetishized examines personal struggle, cultural absurdity, and the erosion of authenticity in music. Tracks like “Icarus,” “Gauntlet,” and “God’s a Lesbian” (featuring Mickey Avalon) push boundaries both sonically and lyrically, offering a fierce critique of the modern music machine.
